1954 Vibroplex Lightning Bug Keyer, Serial No. 185418 With Case & Cord

Ha!   I am not the only one left over from the 1950's.  This vintage Morse code Vibroplex keyer is still around as well!  And in great vintage condition!  The grey crackle of the base, the serial no. 185418, and the 833 Broadway, N.Y. address, leads us to believe it is from the mid 1950's.  Please examine all photos; some show the removeable square weight screwed onto the bar for customization.  This also comes with the green wedge cord, and the original green felt lined black case with a well worn leather handle and a tiny key to the old, but functional lock.  ATTENTION!  It is NOT recommended to lift or carry the keyer, which is quite heavy, using the worn leather handle.  It displays well, but is too fragile to actually use.  This cute little "Lightning Bug" would look interesting in an office, ham radio space, hobby area, or any where someone might appreciate a souvenir bug from the "old days" of communications!
