Handsome fold-out American road map of Florida, printed more than 42 years ago.
This map opens to 25½" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the Diversified Map Corporation. There are inset plans of Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa-St. Petersburg, and the Miami area.
The map was produced by Tempo Designs and includes a directory of hotels, motels, restaurants, and points of interest. There are a dozen or so display ads, including the Ocean World Porpoise Show, Howard Johnson's, and Sambo's Restaurant, "coffee still 10¢."
The map was distributed by the Amoco Oil Company to promote its American brand. It is dated on the cover as the 1973-74 edition.
