    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1976 Amoco road map of New Jersey, printed more than 41 years ago.
    The map opens to 18" x 25½" and has good detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the National Survey of Chester, Vermont.
    The map was published in May 1976 by the Amoco Oil Company, 200 East Randolph Drive, Chicago, Illinois.
    The front cover photograph shows the famous Giant Wheel (now Big Wheel), at the Great Adventure theme park in Jackson Township, Ocean County. When this map was printed it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world.
