    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1977 Amoco Oil Company road map of Ohio, printed more than 40 years ago.
    The map opens to 25" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the National Survey of Chester, Vermont.
    The northern part of the state is on one side; the southern portion is on the other, with inset plans of Toledo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus.
    The map was published by the Amoco Oil Company in 1977 and is dated by the code number in the legend: 1/77.
    The front cover photograph shows the Eiffel Tower at King's Island Amusement Park north of Cincinnati.
    There's an ad for Coachmen Recreational Vehicles on the back cover.
