    BEAUTIFUL POLISHED ORTHOCERAS FOSSILIZED CEPHALOPODS 11-3/4" TALL FROM MOROCCO. OVER 400 MILLION YEARS OLD. WEIGHT IS 4# 3.6 OZ.
    ORTHOCERAS ARE EXTINCT MEMBERS OF THE CEPHALOPOD CLASS.   MODERN MEMBERS INCLUDE NAUTILUS, SQUIDS AND OCTOPUS.  THEY FIRST APPEARED DURING THE SILURIAN PERIOD 410-435 MILLION YEARS AGO IN THE SEAS OF THE JURASSIC & CRETACEOUS PERIODS.
    This beautiful specimen has 3 points and makes a great display piece. You will receive the Orthoceras Fossilized Cephalopods shown in the pictures.  Please ask questions before leaving feedback.
