    Description

    You are looking at a letter opener made from a piece of blue acrylic.  This has been coupled with elegant hardware in Rhodium plating and gold accent plating.  Rhodium is a metal in the Platinum group.
    This is definitely not a flimsy letter opener.  The handle is about 5/8 inch thick.  The blade is about 3.5 inches long and the handle just under 3.5 inches.  Overall length is just over 7 inches.
    After turning, the acrylic was sanded to 12000 grit, then finished with multiple coats of friction polish to a high shine that nicely complements the dazzling brightness of the Rhodium and gold.
