MF DOOM Mask promo for Born Like This album release.
These MF Doom masks were produced as promo materials for the the artist's sixth studio album BORN LIKE THIS which he released under the pseudonym "DOOM" on march 24th 2009.
The album included production from Doom himself as well as tracks produced by his frequent collaborators Madlib and J Dilla.
These cardboard punch-out masks are beautifully printed on heavy weight card stock and are two sided. The front in full color featuring the gold, stone-textured mask with a clear overprint of an invented script
modeled after cuneiform. The back in black and white with doom's traditional metal mask as well as some basic album information.
These can be punched out and worn like masks if you add string or elastic to them (there are anchor points for this on either side of the mask) but are more suitable as collector's items.
But heck - buy several so you can frame them front and back and wear one around the house - knock yourself out, do what you want.
Just get them before you can't get any more.
I have several of these to sell but I have never seen them out in the world.
