PLOT IN SCHENECTADY AND COMES WITH A LETTER OF PROVENANCE FROM A DEMPSTER GRANDCHILD. IT MAY BE THE RECORDER USED IN 1914 BY THE UNION COLLEGE RADIO CLUB WHEN IT PICKED UP THE GERMAN TRANSMISSION ANNOUNCING THE START OF WW1, SEE " THE STEINMETZ ERA" ELFUN PUBLICATIONS.
