NATO MORSE KEY

The key was made by  Marconi S & R systems Ltd, from the late 50’s
to the  80’s, and also by Pryce EdwardsLtd.
It was designed for use by NATO forces.
This impressive key incorporates the classic Scandinavian long tapered lever.
This key, based on the swedish
design key  by Lennart Petersson also
known as THE SWEDISH PUMP KEY .
The cover of this key is battleship grey painted brass.
The cover is made of chromed sheet steel.
The switch on the front, is for switching the key out of circuit of any transmitter.
This system protected against accidental pressing of the key.
The precise gap adjustment is made by a small ball bearing mechanism.
A click is heard when adjusting the gap.
A numerical scale on the knob allows for precise setting.
The housing has slight dents, however, this does not affect the operation of the key.
Very solid construction..
All key elements are original.
This key is in good shape and looks nice  for its age , has an smooth action
