    This listing is for a stoneware decorated Beer Mug Stein made by The Robinson-Merrill pottery in Akron Ohio - it is inscribed with the name OBERMAYER. Measures 5" tall. This company also made stoneware beer bottles.
    This mug was found at the Robinson-Merrill factory site in downtown Akron during construction and demolition work in the late 90's. The factory was located next to where Lock 3 Park now exists.
    Condition: Mug has some chips and some solid black stained cracks from the manufacturing process. Also has some kiln debris fused to the inside. It was definitely a firing reject that never left the site.
    Cool pottery artifact that displays nicely.
