    Description

    This is an auction..  for a RARE brown color leather 1905/M1917 sheath cover for the bayonet sheath. It has a brass wire hanger.  It is on a brown leather Belt Hanger extension with brass eyelets . Inside ID is 17". Throat width is 2".  On back is stamped  "A 174"    NO OTHER MARKINGS on this unit. At first I thought it looked like an Officers leather  unit, but  then I thought it might be for a sentry, guard. Never seen one like this. Have you??
