Description

350 Million Year Old Orthoceras Fossil 6" x 4" x 1.4", 1 lb, 10.6 oz (754 grams).  6 Open Shell Specimens.
The fossils commonly known as orthoceras are extinct "straight-shelled" cephalopods that lived during the Upper Devonian period around 370 million years ago. They lived inside of their shell, had tentacles they could use to grab food and used jet propulsion, squirting water to move. The rock containing them is quarried from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and is polished to make decorative items with the fossils visible on the polished surface.
Orthoceras disappears from the fossil record during the lower Triassic Period about 200 million years ago.

I weigh and measure the packages accurately because the shipping cost is calculated based on size and weight of the package and location.
I do not charge for supplies and packing. (Handling charges).

Qualified Books and Media will be shipped with low-cost USPS Media Mail.
Free Shipping - If you live in or near to Tucson Arizona select Pick Up and we can arrange a mutually agreed upon location where I will deliver the item free.
Combined Shipping:
If you buy multiple items and it is possible that I can combine the items into one package you can save more money on shipping.  We will need to communicate to set that up.  I will repackage your items, reweigh them, and then send you a new invoice.  Some items may not be able to be combined in one box.
Delivery:
Shipping is within 1 working day after payment is accepted.  Sometimes I will get it done sooner.
Generally, it will take about 2-5 business days for the package to reach your destination in the continental US.
