    Description

    Good condition and guaranteed original pre WWI US Model 1905 bayonet that is marked “R.I.A.” on the left ricasso for manufacture by Rock Island Arsenal and dated 1910 with a flaming bomb. Right ricasso is marked “US” with serial number. Full length 16” blade has been arsenal refinished parkerized, showing some wear. Edge has a few nicks and dings. Remaining metal has mostly brown and gray patina. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal wear and handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in an original WWII scabbard that has been repainted and has no damage. A classic M1905 bayonet for your collection.
