Rare Vintage old 1930s McElroy telegraph Morse code key CW ham radio speed bug

For auction is a vintage, hard to find 1930s era McElroy telegraph Morse code key/bug. Item being sold as found and has not been cleaned, cleaning will be left to the winning bidder if they choose to do so. Item is from a smoke free home. Please see all pictures as they are part of this description. Item is in excellent overall condition considering it's age, but does have some areas that show wear/age. Please note, it appears that the one time, original owner has restored this McElroy key at some point in time. Item does include it's original metal plate with serial number present as shown in picture three. Please also note picture two which displays the underside of this item. Item appears to have all three original and matching bottom feet which do show some wear/age. The 'T' bar is intact. Item includes two original weights which are also matching. Item does function, but may need adjustment by the winning bidder to fit their style of sending. No other testing was done. Item was found on display in a collection of early items related to telegraphy. As previously mentioned, no other testing and/or transmitting was done with this item. Please note all parts included with this item were found just as they are shown. Item may be missing some parts and some parts may not be original. Overall, this key has an elegance to it just the way it sits. It is evident that the original owner took pride in this item. Whether left as is or given some more restoration by the winning bidder, this item has much potential to be a great addition to your vintage CW ham radio station and/or vintage telegraph key collection.
