Presented for auction is an ingenious example of great engineering design and a physical piece if art.  The VIBROPLEX (Original Standard))  Semi-Automatic BUG, Serial number 208838 was produced in 1959.   This bug is in great shape, minor paint missing on edges of base (see photos), with very smooth operation.
It has been cleaned and adjusted and ready to be placed into operation.  Perfect for the experienced CW operator or those interested in learning to send code with a legendary CW keyer.  Great to polish up on Vibroplex use while waiting out this pandemic.  A gift to one's self or a loved one attracted to Morse code.  The keyer will be packed with extreme care to avoid damage to any of the keyer's components parts, (damage can occur to the finger pieces if improperly packaged).  I will ship the keyer with the paddles unattached to prevent brakeage during shipping
