    The US Model 1905 was adopted utilizing a longer blade then the short version (Krag Bayonet) to compensate for a shorter rifle. The observed dates on the 1905 series are as follows...
    RIA....1906 thru 1913 and again at ..1917 thru 1919.

    This bayonet is in extra nice condition, the ricasso reads,,RIA..Ordnance Bomb...1912...the other side reads..US...22065..This has the US MK 1 Scabbard which is in great condition.
