RARE: WWI AEF US Army Model 1913 Cavalry Saber or Patton Sword w/Tent Peg Scabbard - Marked: SA 1913 - Very Nice Condition - VERY RARE Scabbard
Up for sale is a WWI AEF US Army M1913 Cavalry Saber or Patton Sword with Canvas Covered Scabbard.  It is marked: SA 1913.  This is a 1st year issued Sword with the RARE 1st Pattern Tent Peg Scabbard.   This is an original sword.  The blade is bright.  No rust or pitting, some minor discoloration spots on the blade.  The Hilt is nice, blue finish, no rust.  Not all dented up.  The grips on the handle are in good condition.  The canvas covered scabbard is in nice condition, it has been painted.  The throat and tip are in good condition.  The sword is used, please see photos for condition.  Also included is a newly made leather sword knot and scabbard pad.  Very Nice condition Tent Peg Scabbards are extremely hard to find.  This one will not last long.
