**BLACKSIDE** Attaching SCREW ONLY for early SINGER buttonholer and hemstitcher

Here is a chance to own an original Singer attaching screw, in the RARE "blackside" finish!
The screw featured in this auction is an original Singer part, issued with the early vintage buttonholers, and with the hemstitcher.  The slot in the head allows this to be screwed tightly in place, using a screwdriver, which was a more secure way to attach the heavier Singer accessories.  I've also found this one
very useful
for the newer feet, like the even feed foot and the plastic darning/embroidery foot, since its "longer" size allows me to go around the plastic gripping fingers better.
This example is very unusual, one of the few I've seen in what's commonly called the "blackside" finish.  This came out during WWII when chrome was reserved for military use.  Singer called it "Black-Oxide" in reference to the process that produced its softly shining black color, and never used the term "blackside."  It's in
very good
used condition, with a few tiny blemishes from use or age, ready to jump into your next project, and give many more years of use.  Please examine all the pictures - no duplicates here, I've moved the screw around to show all "sides."

Shipping is usually to the continental USA, usually within 1 mailing day of receiving confirmation of payment.  I also ship to Alaska and Hawaii if the shipping method shows First Class Mail or Priority Flat Rate - if in doubt, please ask before bidding.  Sorry, no international shipping.

Returns
Returns will be allowed within 30 days of receipt of the item - contact me immediately with any concerns, please. The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was mailed, including protective packaging. Once received and inspected, a refund will be issued.
